In the Circuit Court July term AD 1822 Henry Keil Sebastain Butcher vs Michael Butcher And the said Henry Keil and Sebastian Butcher as by their attorney come and defend their wrong and injury ?when?_______ and say that the said plantiff his actions aforesaid _____ ___ declaration and the matter therein contained in manner and form as above stated and set forth are not efficient in law for the said Michael Butcher to have or maintain his aforesaid action thereof against them the said Henry Keil and Sebastian Butcher and then the said Henry Keil and Sebastian Butcher are not bound by the laws of the land to answer the same and this they are ready to verify; wherefore for __________ of a sufficient declaration in their behalf the said Henry Keil and Sebastian Butcher pray judgement and that the said Michael Butcher may be bound from having or maintaining his aforesaid action thereof against them. 8.-- John Scott and Bundy ?Allen? |
