Will of Bolemus "Beam" Burtcher




IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN; I, Beam Burtcher, being of sound and disposing mind and memory but knowing the uncertainty of human life, do make, publish and declare, this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say:
FIRST: I direct the payment of all of my just debts and funeral expenses.
SECOND: I give, divise and bequeath to brothers, Phillip S. Burtcher of Summerfield, Missouri and Oliver Burtcher of Drummond, Oklahoma and to my three sisters, Lottie P. Hughes of Cuba, Missouri, Ellen Hill of the State of Washington and Letha Nichols of Rolla, Missouri, each the sum of One Dollar.
THIRD: I give, devise and bequeath my violin to my friend Minnie Brown of Scholl, Grand County, Colorado.
FOURTH: I give, devise and bequeath to my friend, Nora Brown, daughter of A. P. Brown of Scholl, Grand County, Colorado, all of the rest, residue and remainder of my property, real, personal or mixed, wheresoever situated, whereof, I may be seized or possessed or to which I may be entitled at the time of my death.

The foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, one besides this one, was on this 22nd day of May, A.D. 1926, signed, sealed, published and declared by the testator, Beam Burtcher, to be his last will and testament, in the presence of us and each of us, the undersigned, who thereupon, at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as the attesting witnesses thereof, the day and year last about writte,
